LOS ANGELES (EPR) – The Voting Committee of the EOTM Awards (Entrepreneurs On The Move) adds additional entrepreneurship categories to the annual awards show.
EOTM’s Company of the Year – Company must have a fully marketable product or service and a high degree of market acceptance. Companies in this category must also have revenues in excess of $5 Million and if not profitable, are generating cash flow and are financially self-sustaining.
Lifetime Achievement Award in Entrepreneurship – The Lifetime Achievement in Entrepreneurship recognizes entrepreneurial excellence as reflected in the individual’s success in business and significant impact on their given industry. Nominees must have had a long career of entrepreneurial achievements that place them in the top echelon of their peers.

“In the spirit of entrepreneurship and the mere fact that the awards show was created to celebrate entrepreneurship as a whole, we felt it necessary to add additional categories honoring exemplars that garnish the power to inspire future generations. Raising our glass to those that exude unconventional bravado, uncommon intensity of focus and the unwavering belief of a dream,” Ms. B. continued.
Previously the entrepreneurship category had only Entrepreneur of the Year (Men) & Entrepreneur of the Year (Women).

Our voting began on February 10th and runs through June 14, 2013. There will be 4 lucky nominees chosen in each category, the elite will be announced on or before June 20th and will partake — front and center at our inaugural awards show, August 4th at the beautiful Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California.
85 % of the votes come from the EOTM Awards voting committee, whereas all exude an illustrious background in the entertainment industry. The committee members all involved in the creative process then participate in (1) the nominating process that determines the four finalists in each category; and (2) the final voting process which determines the EOTM winners.

Grammy winning singer Toni Braxton recently shared her feeling about not wanting to be labeled a ‘reality star,’ while visiting Good Morning America to promote a Lifetime movie she was starring in.
“I am capable of doing something much deeper. I hate to have reality star behind my name. That’s just not what I wanted to be when I grew up,” Braxton said.

According to her site the diva’s collections are designed with the everyday woman in mind.

Mimi Faust, star of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is a dedicated mother and businesswoman. According to Faust’s website the multi-faceted entertainer is “currently developing several brands,” which includes a children’s fashion line inspired by her daughter. Faust is also designing a home line to incorporate with her 12 year estate & commercial cleaning service, which is currently being restructured and will re-open in the fall of 2013.
VH1’s “Basketball Wives,” star Tami Roman is the national spokesperson for NV Clinical, a dietary supplement that promises “quick weight loss.” Roman recently launched TR Love Cosmetics line. She also owns a consignment boutique and spearheaded an interior decorating firm in partnership with her mother.
Patti Stanger, well “she knows” business! The entrepreneur is the star and executive producer of Bravo’s hit docu-series The Millionaire Matchmaker. She is also the founder of The Millionaires Club which was launched in 2000. According to Stanger’s website she works with clients on an individual basis and coaches the particular member through each stage of the dating process by providing them with highly tailored feedback every step of the way. Stanger and her highly trained staff personally match every member according to their exact preferences and requirements, and follow up with each one on a regular basis. The club also works closely with leading psychologists, relationship counselors, date coaches, hypnotherapists and image consultants, as well as with a variety of top-notch personal trainers and hairstylists.

Besides being one of the stars on MTV’s “16 & Pregnant,” Farrah Abraham is a doting mother of a 3-year-old daughter. After receiving a dual degree in culinary management and arts the budding entrepreneur decided to help her family launch their recipe – MOM&ME Italian Hot Pepper Sauce. The garden fresh family sauce is available in Hy-vee grocery stores. Abraham is also a published author.

To qualify for a EOTM AwardsCommittee membership, your background must be in film, television or working creatively in the industry, representing a high level of quality and distinction.
If you are a writer, producer, or director, you should have at minimum two screen credits on films/television shows that reflect the EOTM Awards criteria. If you are an actor, you should have performed scripted roles in at least three such films and or television shows.
Of course, your contributions to the motion picture industry might not meet all of our criteria, if this is the case you may still be considered to join as a basic member, both gives you access to a plethora of privileges.
Please also note, either way, while you may also be accomplished in other media, only your contributions to motion pictures/television will be considered.
In an effort to maintain a high degree of fairness and dignity in the voting process we require the voting members to make their choices based solely on the artistic and technical merits of the eligible films/television shows and achievements.
It is the goal of the EOTM’s to ensure that the Awards competition is conducted in a fair and ethical manner.

The 2013 EOTM Awards brings together entrepreneurs of all genres, new media as well as mainstream celebrities in film, TV, music, radio, business, fashion, philanthropy, web series, authors and more.
EOTM Media is gearing up for the 2013 EOTM Awards but they are missing one major component — a host.
The EOTM’s have recently announced they are “looking for the perfect celebrity that will steer their inaugural awards show into prime time heaven.”
And according to Carla B., Executive Director of the production, “the ideal entertainer can not be just any ole celebrity, our bar is extremely high.”
“To be a successful EOTM Awards host, wit is an absolute must. Comedians do generally well considering it’s their job to be funny however, it has to be right, not too edgy, not too raw. Our host’s sense of humor must be softer…somewhat subtle. It must be more inward-directed, since those who are the targets of ‘their’ humor have very large, yet tender egos,” she continued.

Beverly Hills, CA – Multiple Academy Award® winners Jack Nicholson and Dustin Hoffman will present on this year’s Oscar telecast, show producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced today.
Nicholson has been nominated 12 times and won for his leading performances in “One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest” (1975) and ”As Good as It Gets” (1997). He also won the award for supporting actor in 1983 for “Terms of Endearment.”
Hoffman, who has been nominated seven times, won for his leading performances in “Kramer vs. Kramer” (1979) and “Rain Man” (1988). He has received critical acclaim for his feature film “Quartet,” which marks his directorial debut and is currently in theaters.
“Between the two of them, Jack Nicholson and Dustin Hoffman have created more iconic characters than any other pair of actors in the world,” said Zadan and Meron. “Their participation in this year’s Oscars completes a list of presenters and performers that truly represents that great breadth and depth of acting talent in film today.”

On February 10th theEOTM Awards officially announced it’s award show and red carpet, revealing the extravaganza would be held at the beautiful Club Nokia in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday, August 4th.

The highly anticipated awards show will recur annually celebrating entrepreneurial achievements and performances in business, philanthropy and the arts (recordings, television, radio, literature, film, directing and writing). The EOTM Awards Show will also present “The Aaron Hatcher Award” to key individuals and organizations that promote human rights and social justice.
The “Christopher Kennedy Lawford HumanitarianAward” make its debut as well and will be presented to it’s namesake. The prestigious humanitarian award seeks to identify and recognize individuals that are outstanding models of service, collaboration and leadership. Individuals that have overcome illnesses and life threatening obstacles, continually giving back to the community, helping to improve the lives of others.

So far this year, there has been over 30 nominations with more to come.
