EOTM Radio remembers “Jeanne Cooper” – One of the ‘matriarchs’ last interviews with “Teangelo” (March 21, 2013)

Jeanne Cooper, who played Katherine Chancellor on “The Young and the Restless,” has died, she was 84. Her death was confirmed by her son, actor Corbin Bernsen, on his Twitter account.

“Mom passed this morning,” Bernsen posted. “She was in peace and without fear.”

Cooper had been suffering from an undisclosed illness. The cause of death was not given.

“Jeanne was the matriarch of the show in every sense of the word,” said Lauralee Bell, Christine/Cricket on “The Young and the Restless” and William Bell’s daughter.

“When you did work you were proud of, you’d hope for approval or a ‘good job’ from Jeanne as a child would from a parent. When things got too tense, she’d break the tension with her amazing wit. She would teach the younger actors without ever talking down to them. In fact, she would raise them up,” said Bell. “She always had my back and my parents (and our whole family) always had hers.”

Cooper married television producer Harry Bernsen Jr. in 1954. The pair divorced in 1977. Cooper is survived by three children, all actors: Corbin, Collin and Caren.

After his career in football ended, due to injuries, Eddie Goines began his new career in acting. His big break came when he did a commercial with Charles Barkley and since then he has done numerous advertisements. An excellent opportunity came for him when he garnered the position of the love interest in Beyonce Knowles’ music video “If I Were a Boy”. His newest project is a film entitled ‘The Coalition’ which was written and produced by Terrell Suggs this year’s Super Bowl winning linebacker. Eddie continues on his path of becoming a great entertainer as well as an entrepreneur with his own production company NYAD (Not Your Average Dreamer). Eddie thanks God for the opportunities given to him and he thanks all his family, friends, and fans for their continued support.

In the first biography of the Batman star, Cheung, who lived and worked with Christian and his father for 10 years, shares firsthand accounts of the Bales’ familial dysfunction, Christian’s morbid fascinations and dark humor, and his extreme dedication to his craft.

Aware that Bale hated his traditional publicity duties, Cheung launched an extensive Internet marketing campaign for the actor, built the first official website for the actor and cultivated the Baleheads, an online fan community that was used to garner editorial coverage and ultimately help Bale secure the role of the Caped Crusader.
