James and Dwyane Wadereleased their video on Thursday and by midnight it had been viewed more than six million times on YouTube.
The video took the two about 30 minutes to edit according to James. Once they saw the final version, Wade said he “knew this was going to be pretty funny.” For instance, Wade is dressed like a teddy bear from Saturday Night Fever.
“It’s a long season, man,” Wade said. “For us, it was just trying to enjoy the process. It’s going to be go time soon, and then we’re not going to be able to do anything, fun was the ultimate goal.”
“With everything that goes on with our team from the outside, we have to figure out a way to keep ourselves sane and have fun,” James said. “It’s no disrespect to anyone we go against or the game itself. We approach the game like the best competitors, but in the meantime you have to appreciate more than just basketball.”

“When I say f-ck you say NBA.. When I say f-ck you say the Miami Heat.”

“I got a lot of my own misses, too. I was missing a lot of chippies, but I was just trying to be aggressive,” said Wade. “When your shots aren’t falling you have to find some way to affect the basketball game and give your team a chance to win.”
James shot 9 for 11, giving him 37 makes on his last 47 attempts, and sat out the fourth quarter.
“He’s off the planet right now,” Wade said of James. “He’s not even the best basketball player on the planet. He’s surpassed the planet. He’s somewhere else. He’s playing phenomenal.”
It was his fourth straight 30-point game, tying him with Wade as the only Heat player with such streaks in the franchise’s 25-year history. According to STATS LLC, it was only the 13th such game in the NBA since the start of the 2002-03 season.
“Just confident in my ability,” James said. “It was great to see, when you put in a lot of work and you implement it into a game situation. Just play your game. That’s what I’m doing right now. Just playing my game.”
Mario Chalmers finished with 18 points and Shane Battier scored 12 for Miami. Chauncey Billups, Chris Paul and Blake Griffin were back in the game from injuries and didn’t do much for the team’s final score with 23 points combined.
“We lost to a good team over there but we’re not going to hang our heads,” Paul said. “You never want to make excuses but they shot the lights out of the ball. We never really made an impact defensively. LeBron, Mario, all those guys were on a rocking chair all night.”
The Washington Wizards posted just their second win of the NBA season, overcoming a triple-double by Miami’s LeBron James to stun the reigning champion Heat 105-101. A euphoric crowd showered James with adoration as he basked in the moment.
“It’s about damn time,” James said gleefully during the trophy presentation, while also calling it “the happiest day in my life” and “a dream come true. It means everything, I made a difficult decision to leave Cleveland but I understood what my future was about … I knew we had a bright future (in Miami). This is a dream come true for me. This is definitely when it pays off.”
The Heat took control in the second quarter, briefly lost it and blew the game open again in the third behind their role players, James content to pass to wide-open 3-point shooters while the Thunder focused all their attention on him, which made it all the more easier to sweep pass, clinching the title.

If you’ve been watching Miami Heat games this season you’ve probably seen Gabrielle Union sitting court side. She was probably screaming something obscene at the referee or opposing team. Unfortunately, Union’s antics will no longer be apart of the Heat’s game plan, as Wade has banned his girlfriend from the front row. The actress was on Conan O’Brien’s show and explained why she no longer sits courtside to watch her boyfriend play for the Heat.

The Miami Heat have had ample opportunity to watch and re-watch and re-watch to their collapse against Dallas Mavericks.
How many times has Heat coach Erik Spoelstra punished himself and watched the final 7:14 of Game 2 of the NBA Finals when Miami squandered a 15-point lead and lost 95-93?
“Quite a few. Quite a few,” he said.
His players have had a chance to review the uncharacteristic offensive and defensive breakdowns, too.
