Did you hear Kanye West is gay? Yep, it’s pretty out there, but that’s the new rumor going around Hollywood. Obviously Kim Kardashian is not happy about it, as she’s expecting a baby with the dude!

As you may have noticed “reality stars turned entrepreneurs” don’t always make the headlines like the ticky tacky whimsical drama of reality TV, which just so happen thrives on shrill outbursts and general debauchery.

In an effort to turn the tables a bit we decided to feature 7 reality TV stars that own business empires and are actively creating a legacy outside of reality TV.
Grammy winning singer Toni Braxton recently shared her feeling about not wanting to be labeled a ‘reality star,’ while visiting Good Morning America to promote a Lifetime movie she was starring in.
“I am capable of doing something much deeper. I hate to have reality star behind my name. That’s just not what I wanted to be when I grew up,” Braxton said.

And first there was Kim Kardashian, reality TV celebrity, yes, but that’s just a tiny facet. Kim is the epitome of cashing in on reality TV show fame. According to The Wall Street Journal the soon to be mommy is” a brand”. Her portfolio features perfume, a calendar and a clothing line.
Bridging reality TV fame and smart commerce isn’t easy, but Kim can definitely swim with the sharks…whereas quite a few others have been eaten alive. {I’m just saying}
Real Housewives of Orange County star Gretchen Rossi is founder of Gretchen Christine Cosmetics and Gretchen Christine Collections which has almost everything a woman could ever need; from handbags, jewelry, shoes, clothes, dresses, hats, swimsuits, day-wear, accessories and more. According to her site the diva’s collections are designed with the everyday woman in mind.

Mimi Faust, star of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is a dedicated mother and businesswoman. According to Faust’s website the multi-faceted entertainer is “currently developing several brands,” which includes a children’s fashion line inspired by her daughter. Faust is also designing a home line to incorporate with her 12 year estate & commercial cleaning service, which is currently being restructured and will re-open in the fall of 2013.
VH1’s “Basketball Wives,” star Tami Roman is the national spokesperson for NV Clinical, a dietary supplement that promises “quick weight loss.” Roman recently launched TR Love Cosmetics line. She also owns a consignment boutique and spearheaded an interior decorating firm in partnership with her mother.
Patti Stanger, well “she knows” business! The entrepreneur is the star and executive producer of Bravo’s hit docu-series The Millionaire Matchmaker. She is also the founder of The Millionaires Club which was launched in 2000. According to Stanger’s website she works with clients on an individual basis and coaches the particular member through each stage of the dating process by providing them with highly tailored feedback every step of the way. Stanger and her highly trained staff personally match every member according to their exact preferences and requirements, and follow up with each one on a regular basis. The club also works closely with leading psychologists, relationship counselors, date coaches, hypnotherapists and image consultants, as well as with a variety of top-notch personal trainers and hairstylists.

Besides being one of the stars on MTV’s “16 & Pregnant,” Farrah Abraham is a doting mother of a 3-year-old daughter. After receiving a dual degree in culinary management and arts the budding entrepreneur decided to help her family launch their recipe – MOM&ME Italian Hot Pepper Sauce. The garden fresh family sauce is available in Hy-vee grocery stores. Abraham is also a published author.

Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel is the CEO of Skinnygirl® Cocktails. A tasty beverage “without the extra calories. Frankel just recently released three new flavors to the line; Skinnygirl Moscato, Skinnygirl White Cherry Vodka and Skinnygirl Mojito.
Mimi Faust, Tami Roman, Gretchen Rossi, Patti Stanger and Bethenny Frankel are “Entrepreneur of the Year” nominees at the 2013 EOTM Awards. Farrah Abraham is in the running for “Outstanding Reality Star.”

Singer/Actor Ray J is set to release a new single that playfully jabs Kanye West titled, “I Hit It First,” which is set to release on April 9th.

Looks like Ray J is an opportunist indeed — and we aint mad at him. The” Sexy Can I” singer once dated Kim Kardashian and filmed a sex tape in 2007 with the reality star, which helped to catapult her career in entertainment.
On Friday he revealed the track’s single art on Twitter. The art, in the censored, pixelated style of West’s “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” covers, appears to be somewhat of a reproduction of a photo of Kardashian, as evidenced by hip hop site Global Grind.
The site further reports that the song is rumored to include the line, “Now that I’m finished, she’s on to Mr West,” referencing sexual activities he had with the most famous Kardashian sister.

The rumor mill was a buzz today spouting rapper Kanye Westwas working on an album titled “I Am God.” I was just shocked an appalled to find out he wan’t God. [Shruggs]
I dunno maybe I am the only one to remember a song that happened in the not so distant past when West released the song about Jesus walking. He also recreated the prophet’s crucifixion on a 2006 cover of Rolling Stone…go figure. This was a pretty good publicity stunt, I might add.

Let’s not forget the rappers habit of being a little over the top and this new track…well…. definitely seemed on point, however, according to the Huffington Post, the title is actually for an upcoming single and the album itself had yet to be named. The track will be called “I Am A God” [Hmmm....title of album, song..same difference...shrugs....anyways...]
Kanye’s camp has went on record to say:
“We would never be so presumptuous or sacrilegious to call ourselves the supreme being,” the source said. While everyone will have to wait for the actual song to parse the specifics of the song’s message, the source hinted that the idea was generally that all people are manifestations of a higher power.
And according to the Huffington Post entertainment blog the title is also a reference to Psalm 82, which includes the following:
I said, “You are gods,
And all of you are children of the Most High.
But you shall die like men,
And fall like one of the princes.”
This is a great publicity stunt, I might add. Oh and again….we can’t forget the eccentric rapper has rapped about Jesus walking and also recreated the prophet’s crucifixion on a 2006 cover of Rolling Stone…go figure.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West reportedly plan on naming their to baby girl, North.
Yep…you heard it right and besides it being out right ridiculous it makes us wonder, if they decide to have more kids would the names be based on directional observations? East, West and South?

Sources close to the reality star have shut down the “North” rumors, first reported by the Sun, which said the rapper, 35, thought it sounded good with his last name. However, omg! Yahoo reports that the couple will not be naming their child North.

They are expecting their first child in June, and the quick trip to Rio de Janeiro will be a great relaxation as the city is awash with spectators who are immersed in the carnival…
If you turned your TV to the “Today” show on today, Tuesday, your screen would have been filled with Kardashian’s. Reality stars Kim and Kourtney Kardashian were live in studio promoting their show, “Kourtney and Kim Take Miami.”

When asked how she felt when West shared she was pregnant to concert go’ers last month she had this to say.
“No [I didn't know he was going to do that]. He just kind of does what he feels. Once you’re past the three-month part, you know, you’re pretty safe. So he just kind of goes off what he feels and he was feeling it that night, I guess,” she said, adding, “I’m due in July.”
And according to Kim this mommy thing is very different, she spoke candidly about this new change.
“I know Khloe has been very open about her fertility issues and I think I was always really quiet about mine, and I have similar issues and so it was a pleasant surprise when so many doctors were telling me one thing and then the opposite happens.
“And that’s an exciting moment, you can’t plan for things like that and I think it’s such a blessing knowing my circumstances,” she said. “As much as I would like to be a in a perfect world where I’m divorced you can’t plan for any of that.”
Her divorce from Kris Humphries is not yet finalized.
“I can’t really speak for anyone else,” she said, noting that she’ll most likely be divorced by sometime this year. “It’s a process. It’s happening, hopefully, so I’m trying.”

According to US Weekly Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are moving on up — together….in grand style. The magazine is reporting the two love birds have purchased a 10,000-square-foot mansion in Bel Air, Calif., estimated at $11 million.

The two recently announced that they were expecting a new bundle of joy.
“Stop the music and make noise for my baby mama,” West said on December 30th at a live concert.
“It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky … Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family,” Kardashian wrote on her website.
Some of their new neighbors include Jennifer Aniston and Sarah Michelle Gellar.
Sources close to Kardashian and West recently told TMZ that an overseas tabloid had offered to pay $3 million to obtain the very first photos of the new baby, the couple reportedly turned it down.

On Sunday night while performing on stage in Atlantic City, Kanye West announced to his fans that he and his reality TV girlfriend Kim Kardashian are pregnant.

West told concertgoers to congratulate his “baby mom” and that this was the “most amazing thing.”
According to TMZ, Kim is reportedly 12 weeks pregnant. After Kanye broke the big news Khloe Kardashian tweeted, “Keeping secrets is hard with so many family members! Especially when you are so freaking excited!!!”
Kourtney also tweeted, “Been wanting to shout from the rooftops with joy and now I can.”
This will be the first child for both Kim and Kanye. Technically Kardashian is still married to basketball player Kris Humphries, as their divorce has yet to be settled. Congrats to the happy couple!

Earlier, she posted glowing remarks about Bahrain on her Twitter account, calling it “the prettiest place on earth.” It was re-Tweeted by Bahrain’s foreign minister.
Kardashian was in Kuwait earlier this week to open another branch of the shop.
