Finally Comedian Katt Williams has a little bit of good news, if you can call unsupervised probation for 3 years, good news that is.

In December the funny man was arrested for evading arrest [straight face & shruggs] while leading police on motorbike chase in California. Police said the comedian was spotted driving a three-wheeled Can-Am motorcycle on a sidewalk near the state capitol building in Sacramento which initiated the 35 mile per hour chase. Reportedly, a ways into the chase Williams took off his helmet and told the cops, “I’m not going to stop”; the chase was called off after police decided it was too dangerous to continue.

Well on Thursday (4-25-2013) the comedian avoided jail time and was sentenced to 90 days of community service along with the probation.

The original sentence was 180 days in county jail, according to the Sacramento Bee, but the judge converted it to the community service stretch with the other 90 days stayed if he does the work and stays out of trouble.

The charge was originally a felony vehicle code violation.

This is a wakeup call for me, I have to be smarter & last night I wasn’t … everything happens for a reason.”

Kevin Hart + SNL = Really Funny ‘Bleep’

Comedian Kevin Hart did his best to boost Saturday Night Live’s dwindling ratings.

There was plenty of good material and memorable performances however, some bloggers, writers and tweeters seemed a little disappointed. The funniest sketch of the night in my opinion was when Hart played the race card in a spoof of The Walking Dead…very funny sh*t.

Kevin Hart to host MTV Video Music Awards

(CBS/AP) Kevin Hart isn’t just the host of next month’s MTV Video Music Awards, he’s also part of Hollywood’s hottest new couple.

The comedian stars alongside Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in a video posted Wednesday on MTV’s website. Hart tells the pair he’s hosting the VMA show and that paparazzi are trying to get a look at “the new ‘it’ couple,” even though they would actually be a trio. He says, “I’m talking about Kev-Ye-Kim.”

The video shows a casually clad Kardashian and West, who is up for two Video Music Awards, lounging on the end of a bed. When West asks what Hart means, he offers other possible couple nicknames, including “Ye-Kev-Kim” and “Ye-Kim-Kev.”

Hart has appeared in the films “Think Like a Man” and “The Five-Year Engagement.” In 2011, he hosted the BET Awards.

The MTV Video Music Awards will be presented Sept. 6 at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Rihanna and Drake lead the pack of nominees with five nods each. Last year’s big winner Katy Perry isn’t far behind, with four nominations.

Kevin Hart to appear in NBA celeb all-star game

Published by EOTM News Editor on February 25th, 2012 - in Breaking News, Celebrity News, Entertainment News

North Philly-born comedian Kevin Hart announced today on Twitter that he’ll be taking part in the NBA celebrity all-star game, which is hilarious considering he’s about 5’2″. But he’s also a big basketball fan (check out this video of Hart and his crew taking on the UConn women’s basketball team, but be careful of the language, it’s rated R).

As Roderick “Mr. Rod” Millwood, owner of Hart’s old stomping grounds the Laff House at Second and South, told us, Hart is “short, but he’s big in stature.”

Here are the other celebs participating: R&B star Ne-Yo, rapper J. Cole, rapper Common, comedian JB Smoove, “Jersey Shore’s” Vinny Guadagnino, “The Voice’s” Javier Colon, “Property Brothers’” Drew and Jonathan Scott, “Grey’s Anatomy’s” Jesse Williams, ESPN’s Doug Gottleib and basketball players Mitch Richmond, Penny Hardaway, Nick Anderson and Tamika Catchings.

The celeb all-star game airs Fri., February 24 at 7 p.m. on ESPN. Hart recently appeared in the indie movie “Exit Strategy.”
