“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kim Kardashian and hip hop baby daddy Kanye West welcomed their baby girl at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on yesterday, June 16th according to E!.
This is the first child for both Kardashian and West.

The bouncy baby girl came about a month early, as the E! reality star’s due date was reported to be July 11th.
“Kim had her baby,” a hospital source told Us. “She’s five weeks early. Kim got sick last night and had the baby early. They’re all doing great and amazing!”

TMZ is reporting that Kardashian had a natural birth after beginning contractions on Friday and going into full labor on Saturday.
West was said to have been there for the entire delivery.
The Grammy winner announced that Kardashian was pregnant with their baby during an Atlantic City concert in December.
“Can we make some noise for my baby mama right quick?” West asked his fans from the stage.
The baby’s name has not yet been revealed, however, Kim has reportedly told friends that her name “will start with a K.”
The baby girl comes amidst rumors that West had been cheating on his girlfriend with a Canadian model.
In a recent interview with New York Times, West has said that he’s embracing his role as a father, “I would do anything to protect my child or my child’s mother,” he told the newspaper.
On Sunday afternoon grandma Kris Jenner tweeted “HAPPY FATHERS DAY @kanyewest !!!!!!”
According to USA Today the baby girl weighed a little under 5 pounds.

Canadian model Leyla Ghobadi claims she had an affair with hip hop star Kanye West, even after Kim Kardashian announced that her an West were expecting their first child. The 24-year-old woman told Star magazine that she and the 36-year-old rapper had an affair after meeting at one of his shows in Atlantic City last year. She claims to have been invited backstage after the show and it was on from there.

True or false, it means the clock is ticking on Ghobadi’s 15 minutes of fame. But at what cost, apparently it really doesn’t matter.
After receiving an enormous amount of backlash after her accusations, which also included that Kanye’s relationship with Kim is strictly for publicity, Leyla responded to questions from inquisitive tweeters. And in one question, she actually apologizes to Kim.

Hip hop fans got a taste of Kanye West’s new single titled, ‘New Slaves’ on Friday. The soon to be hit also debuted on SNL Saturday, whereas the rapper, delivered a slam dunk performance for all the world to see. The full EP is set to drop sometime in June and is the rappers sixth studio album.

A photo dating back to 1939 has many wondering if Jay-Z is a time traveler. I know it’s absurd but the picture below does bare an uncanny resemblance to Hova — he even appears to have a lil bit of Jay Z’s swag.

A research centre at the New York Public Library posted the photo taken in Harlem by Sid Grossman, and is part of the New York Public Library’s Schomburg Center’s collection.
The name of the subject is unknown, if you can put a (real) name on the young man, let us know.
On top of all the new rumors the rapper is also said to be attached to the Illuminati.
However, just so ya’ll know it’s highly unlikely that the “secretive society” would allow a hip hop star to join their ranks. Especially since members of the Illuminati are the top players on the international playground, basically belonging to thirteen of the wealthiest families in the world.They are the men who rule the world from behind the scenes. They are the real decision makers, who make up the rules for presidents and governments to follow and they are often held from public scrutiny, as their actions can’t stand scrutiny. They are connected by bloodlines going back thousands of years. Last year Grammy winning singer Lauryn Hill pleaded guilty to willfully failing to file income tax returns with the IRS. Federal prosecutors contend she didn’t pay taxes on more than $1.5 million earned in 2005, 2006 and 2007 from recording and film royalties.

Today (May 6, 2013) the singer stood in federal court and calmly said, “I am a child of former slaves who had a system imposed on them. I had an economic system imposed on me.”
Hill went on to say that the treatment she received while in the entertainment business led to her decision to leave it.
“There were veiled threats, there was blacklisting,” she said, without giving specifics. “I was told, ‘That’s how it goes, it comes with the territory.’ I came to be perceived as a cash cow and not a person. When people capitalize on a persona, they forget there is a person in there.”
Assistant US Attorney Sandra Moser acknowledged Hill’s creative talent and work on behalf of impoverished children but called Hill’s explanation for her actions “a parade of excuses centering around her feeling put upon” that don’t exempt her from her responsibilities.
“She wasn’t interested in all those years in paying what she owed,” Ms Moser told the judge.
At the time of her arrest last year, Hill wrote a criticism rejecting pop culture’s “climate of hostility, false entitlement, manipulation, racial prejudice, sexism and ageism.”
“Over-commercialisation and its resulting restrictions and limitations can be very damaging and distorting to the inherent nature of the individual,” Hill wrote. “I did not deliberately abandon my fans, nor did I deliberately abandon any responsibilities, but I did however put my safety, health and freedom and the freedom, safety and health of my family first over all other material concerns! I also embraced my right to resist a system intentionally opposing my right to whole and integral survival.”
Hill is to report to prison by July 8. It’s not clear where she’ll serve her sentence. She didn’t comment after the sentencing.
She said in a recent post online that she has signed a recording contract with Sony, so I guess that post on being a cash cow was all for show. {shrugs}
“She is looking forward to putting her case behind her and getting back to her music and creating again,” attorney Nathan Hochman said.
Despite having paid more than $900,000 in the past several days, Hill still owes interest and penalties, the US attorney’s office said.
In addition to serving three months in prison, Hill must pay a $60,000 fine. After she is released from prison, she will be under parole supervision for a year, the first three months of which will be spent under home confinement.

Hip hop icon Lauryn Hill is reportedly facing an eviction from her New Jersey mansion, which was first reported by TMZ. A public record search of Essex County Court unearthed a tenancy case filed against Hill on March 5th by the owners of the home. There’s also a lawsuit pending against both Hill and her landlords by the town of South Orange for allegedly running a business out of a home, which is a violation of town zoning ordinances.

On top of this very unfortunate situation the singer is also dealing with tax evasion charges. Last year Hill pleaded guilty to willfully failing to file income tax returns with the IRS. Federal prosecutors contend she didn’t pay taxes on more than $1.5 million earned in 2005, 2006 and 2007 from recording and film royalties. She could potentially face a one-year sentence for each of the three evasion charges.
Her sentencing is scheduled for Monday April 22nd.
Hill responded to the tax evasion charges via social media back in 2012:

Singer/Actor Ray J is set to release a new single that playfully jabs Kanye West titled, “I Hit It First,” which is set to release on April 9th.

Looks like Ray J is an opportunist indeed — and we aint mad at him. The” Sexy Can I” singer once dated Kim Kardashian and filmed a sex tape in 2007 with the reality star, which helped to catapult her career in entertainment.
On Friday he revealed the track’s single art on Twitter. The art, in the censored, pixelated style of West’s “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” covers, appears to be somewhat of a reproduction of a photo of Kardashian, as evidenced by hip hop site Global Grind.
The site further reports that the song is rumored to include the line, “Now that I’m finished, she’s on to Mr West,” referencing sexual activities he had with the most famous Kardashian sister.

After dishing out a successful season of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta“ the crew is back and is said to be pulling out the read carpet for all the ticky tacky drama of its first season — with added spice. According to Rolling Out, the show is returning to the network with two new cast mates; Chavante Che’ Mack and DJ Traci Steele from Hot 107.9. Also featured will be Faust’ new boyfriend Nikko and Lil Scrappy whose engagement to Dixon is reportedly on the rocks.

The rumor mill was a buzz today spouting rapper Kanye Westwas working on an album titled “I Am God.” I was just shocked an appalled to find out he wan’t God. [Shruggs]
I dunno maybe I am the only one to remember a song that happened in the not so distant past when West released the song about Jesus walking. He also recreated the prophet’s crucifixion on a 2006 cover of Rolling Stone…go figure. This was a pretty good publicity stunt, I might add.

Let’s not forget the rappers habit of being a little over the top and this new track…well…. definitely seemed on point, however, according to the Huffington Post, the title is actually for an upcoming single and the album itself had yet to be named. The track will be called “I Am A God” [Hmmm....title of album, song..same difference...shrugs....anyways...]
Kanye’s camp has went on record to say:
“We would never be so presumptuous or sacrilegious to call ourselves the supreme being,” the source said. While everyone will have to wait for the actual song to parse the specifics of the song’s message, the source hinted that the idea was generally that all people are manifestations of a higher power.
And according to the Huffington Post entertainment blog the title is also a reference to Psalm 82, which includes the following:
I said, “You are gods,
And all of you are children of the Most High.
But you shall die like men,
And fall like one of the princes.”
This is a great publicity stunt, I might add. Oh and again….we can’t forget the eccentric rapper has rapped about Jesus walking and also recreated the prophet’s crucifixion on a 2006 cover of Rolling Stone…go figure.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Gucci Mane after a Marine partying in a downtown Atlanta nightclub accused the rapper of hitting him in the head with a champagne bottle.

Authorities say 32-year-old James Lettley, of Fort Hood, Texas, tried making conversation with the rapper in the VIP section of Harlem Nights Ultra Lounge on March 16.
The soldier told ABC News’ Atlanta affiliate WSB-TV he was in Atlanta to celebrate his birthday with friends. He said it was his first trip to the city since he had returned home from a deployment to Afghanistan last October.
Police department spokesman Sgt. Greg Lyon says the rapper is accused of hitting Lettley in the head, causing a gash on the man’s head. Police say Lettley was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.
Apparently the rapper left before they arrived and was possibly traveling in a white Chevy Tahoe.
A representative for Gucci Mane did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
