Rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has been released from a New York hospital after suffering minor injuries when his SUV was involved in a traffic accident early Tuesday morning according to Jackson’s publicist.

“He was released this morning and is doing fine,” Keesha Johnson, the rapper’s spokesman at DKC, said in a statement.
ThisIs50.com, the rapper’s official website, posted at 3 a.m. Tuesday: “50 Cent was in a bad accident tonight as his bulletproof SUV was rear-ended by a Mack truck on the LIE in NYC. He was put on a stretcher and taken to the nearest Queens hospital where they are currently running tests on his neck and back.”
Jackson was listed as the fifth-wealthiest hip-hop artist by Forbes in April, with a net worth of $110 million.
