1. In celebration of Black History month Teangelo spot lights renowned choreographer Alvin Ailey. An American choreographer and activist founded the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York in 1958. Ailey’s choreographic masterpiece Revelations is believed to be the best-known and most often seen modern dance performance. Ailey is credited with popularizing modern dance and revolutionizing African-American participation in 20th century concert dance.
2. The National Anthem at the Super Bowl is typically pre-recorded, but Christina Aguilera chose to sing it live for the Packers vs. Steelers game on Sunday night… and she probably shouldn’t have. Yes, Aguilera messed up the lyrics to “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Oops.
