Report: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie secretly married on Christmas?

By Manda Faulkner

The rumor mill is abuzz with hot new gossip claiming Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were secretly married on Christmas day.

Unconfirmed reports say the couple were married  in the Caribbean — specifically — Turks and Caicos Island at designer Donna Karan’s Parrot Cay estates, the Telegraph suggests. The lucky few that attended included Brad’s parents Jane and William Pitt, and his brother Doug and sister Julie.

Despite all the hum bug — GossipCop reports that there are “no real indications” that Jolie and Pitt married on Christmas. Notably, their reps  have not responded despite multiply requests by EOTM! Online and other media outlets.

The New York post has also chimed in reporting, the couple and their children did in fact celebrate the Christmas festivities at Karan’s estate — however, that was the extinct of it.

“They are at Donna’s house, without Donna, and have been loving the island because it is so secluded,” a source told the Post. “Angelina’s taken the kids to Karan’s yoga spa. They’ve been running around the island with no care in the world, and relaxing.”

The pair announced their engagement in April, and have remained silent about a wedding date.

Pitt has been married once before, to Jennifer Aniston. And Jolie has been married twice before, to actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.

4-year-old Vivienne Jolie-Pitt makes her film debut alongside her famous mother, Angelina Jolie

The Walt Disney Studios confirmed Wednesday that Vivienne Jolie-Pitt , Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s daughter, will play the child version of Princess Aurora opposite her mother in “Maleficent.” The four-year-old will have a small role in the project which is a re-telling of the tale of Sleeping Beauty from the point of view of her horned, evil nemesis.

Production on the film began in London in June. “Maleficent,” which also stars Sharlto Copley, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson and Lesley Manville, is scheduled to hit theaters in March 2014.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly back in March, Jolie said she was particularly excited for her daughters (Zahara, Shiloh, and Viv) to see Maleficent.

“It’s not anti-princess, but it’s the first time they’re looking at this epic woman [in a different way],” said Jolie, 37. “I hope in the end you see a woman who is capable of being many things, and just because she protects herself and is aggressive, it doesn’t mean she can’t have other qualities. You have to figure out the puzzle of what she is.”

“Ange thought it would be a fun experience for her and Viv to share, and Viv is a natural,” a source told the U.K.’s Sun. “The other kids are now nagging Ange and Brad to land them roles.”

This won’t actually be the first time one of Brad and Angie’s children has appeared in a major motion picture. Shiloh, 6, had a brief cameo in Pitt’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button when she was just a toddler.

Feeling Horny? Jolie looks magnificent in this First Look at Maleficent

By Greg Reifsteck

Fairy tale movies have been hot at the box office lately, and no film has bigger anticipation behind it than Disney’s Maleficent, starring the owner of everyone’s favorite Oscar red carpet legs Angelina Jolie, as Disney’s most popular and beloved villain from the 1959 classic Sleeping Beauty.

Disney leaked this image just this morning!  The film began production on June 13. It is scheduled for a March 14, 2014 release.

This live-action film is the untold story that reveals the events that hardened her heart and drove her to curse the baby Aurora.

I think the casting is brilliant.  Look at those devilish eyes!  The opening weekend of the film is sure to be enormous. And it is good to see the sexier have of Bradgelina is finally starring in something legit (unlike her slumming in the guilty pleasure Salt or the phoned-in excuse for a vacation The Tourist)

Maleficent co-stars are Sharlto Copley (District 9), Elle Fanning (Super 8), Sam Riley (On the Road), Imelda Staunton (Vera Drake), Miranda Richardson (The Hours), Juno Temple (Atonement) and Lesley Manville (Secrets & Lies).

The creative pedigree behind this film is promising as well.  Two-time Oscar®-winning production designer Robert Stromberg (Avatar, Alice in Wonderland), in his directorial debut, and produced by Joe Roth, Maleficent is written by Linda Woolverton (The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast) and executive produced by Angelina Jolie, Don Hahn, Matt Smith and Palak Patel.

Add to the mix two-time Oscar®-nominated costume designer Anna B. Sheppard (Schindler’s List, The Pianist) and seven-time Academy Award-winning makeup artist Rick Baker (Planet of the Apes, Men in Black) and you have a recipe for success.

The birth of Shiloh made headlines in 2006. Shortly after Jolie and Pitt sold the first pictures of baby Shiloh for a whopping $4.1 million to People magazine.

The celebrity star child has five siblings, twins Knox and Vivienne age 3,  sister Maddox, aged 10, Pax, aged 8 and Zahara, aged 7.

The tike already has her own style which mom Angelina Jolie describes as “tom boy”

In 2010, Jolie opened up about  Shiloh’s style:

“I think she (Shiloh) is fascinating, the choices she is making,” said Jolie. “And I would never be the kind of parent to force somebody to be something they are not. I think that is just bad parenting… Children should be allowed to express themselves in whatever way they wish without anybody judging them because it is an important part of their growth. Society always has something to learn when it comes to the way we judge each other, label each other. We have far to go.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt engaged

The news of their engagement spread like wildfire on Friday after jeweler Robert Procop revealed that the sparkler Jolie was photographed wearing Wednesday at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art was an engagement ring he’d designed over the course of a year in collaboration with Pitt.

Angelina Jolie's engagement ring“I’m very happy for them,” Jon Voight, Jolie’s father, told Us Weekly on Friday after the news broke.

The celeb power couple have six children: Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 5, and twins Knox and Viv, 3. Jolie said in the past that they would wed if the kids asked, and Pitt told CBS News in January: “We’re getting a lot of pressure from the kids.

Angelina Jolie Shops With Her Twins and Brad Pitt’s Mom

After popping out to win friends and influence people last night, Angelina Jolie‘s right leg was back under cover today.

Wearing skinny black pants that covered her from hip to ankle (as pants tend to do), the gamtastic actress went shopping in Beverly Hills Monday with 3-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne and their grandma, Jane.

You know, Brad Pitt‘s mother.

FameFlynet Pictures

Perhaps no one will ever know what Jolie’s modus operandi was when she so cockily popped her right knee through the slit of her black velvet Versace gown before presenting Best Adapted Screenplay to the stunned Descendants scribes.

Was she feeling woozy and needed an extra bit of stability? Was she making fun of Madonna (it just seemed like the sort of preening we come to expect from Madge)? Did she lose a bet?

Either way, Jolie’s leg now has its own Twitter account, and countless photo parodies—who knew her leg was at the Last Supper!—have shown up online.

If she and grandma Jane were out shopping for skirts today, we suggest she get in touch with the guys who insured Jennifer Lopez‘s posterior for $1 million, stat.

Angelina Jolie receives threats over In the Land of Blood and Honey

Jolie and several Serb members of the cast have received online threats after the film premiered before 5,000 people in Sarajevo—

Angelina Jolie directorial debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey, was intended to remind the world of the horrors of the Bosnian war which began 20 years ago, and trigger a debate among Bosnians over what happened and why. But it has succeeded most in exposing the depth of the rifts in a country that many fear is moving away from reconciliation and drifting once more towards dangerous instability.

Since the film opened, with a peace award at the Berlin film festival on Monday and a premiere before 5,000 people in Sarajevo on Tuesday night, Jolie and several Serbian members of the cast have received threats.

“There were things sent to me, there were things posted online,” Jolie told the Guardian in an interview in Sarajevo. “The cast … have never complained to me about these threats but I’ve heard through other people it was happening … one of them did have their windows smashed in on their cars and someone else had an issue when their phone was hacked and emails were sent out saying they were from them and saying they had been hurt.”

“It was a scary thought that someone was thinking along those lines,” Jolie said, adding that she had given the multiethnic cast the option to leave the region, where In the Land of Blood and Honey is being shown for the first time this week, but that none of them took up the offer.

Jolie has abandoned a plan to attend a premiere of the film in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, but denied it was a direct result of the threats.

“The physical threats are not what most bothered me because I have been to so many different countries where there are different kinds of threats, being in Afghanistan and other places as an outspoken American woman,” she said.

“It was more that … with a film like this, you don’t want it to be used as a tool … especially in an election year, where people are deciding to label it without having seen it, and try to incite aggression and violence.”

The film depicts the pre-war romance between a Muslim artist, Ajla, and a Serbian police officer, Danijel, which becomes progressively more twisted and degraded by the conflict.

The lead male role is played by Goran Kostic, who, like Danijel, is a Bosnian Serb from Sarajevo and the son of a senior Serbian officer.

“Some people would give me grief if they knew how to get to me,” said Kostic, who spent the war in London and now lives in France. He said his father and other relatives had fought in the war but had not committed crimes.

“They see it as they were fighting a just war,” the actor said. “My father is a professional soldier and is unhappy about what was done in the war. He believed he was doing something for the Serb nation but it was hijacked.”

Kostic said his family supported him in the face of allegations of treachery from other Serbs, but conceded that his father had yet to see the film himself. Asked how the retired colonel was likely to respond, Kostic replied: “I don’t know. We will have to talk.”

In the Land of Blood and Honey is a stark, brutal and often shocking portrayal of the war. It shows summary executions and the systematic rape of Muslim and Croat women by Serbian officers at one of the many camps set up around the country. After being separated by the outbreak of war, Ajla is brought to a camp where Danijel is the commanding officer.

As many as 50,000 Bosnian women, mainly Muslim, are thought to have been raped in the course of the war. The Hague tribunal on Balkan war crimes declared it a “crime against humanity”.

An estimated 100,000 people were killed in the war, including 8,000 Muslim men and boys murdered at Srebrenica in 1995, which the Hague tribunal has declared an act of genocide.

The current Bosnian Serb leadership rejects the findings of the tribunal and other international investigations, and Jolie’s film is not being shown in the Republika Srpska, the Serbian entity which makes up more than half of Bosnia.

Vladimir Ljevar, who runs a multiplex cinema in the main Serbian city of Banja Luka and controls much of the cinema distribution in the Republika Srpska, told the Guardian: “I have seen the film at a screening for distributors in Belgrade. The impression I had of the movie is definitely lousy.”

Ljevar added: “I wish I had a multiplex cinema in Sarajevo so I can also make a profit on it. Here I cannot. There are simply some films that are acceptable for Sarajevo, but not for Banja Luka.”

In the small snowbound town of Pale, the Serbs’ wartime capital about 12 miles from Sarajevo, a group of law students all said they had no intention of going to see the film.

Zeljko Stankovic, who was just two when the war started, said: “It would be an uncomfortable feeling. How would an American feel about watching a film with Americans portrayed doing things like that?”

Back in Sarajevo, where the film was greeted by a standing ovation in a former Winter Olympic stadium, Jolie argued against the suggestion that the film had failed because of its rejection by most Serbs, pointing out that some people in Republika Srpska were trying to get hold of the video independently.

“If anything, it has proven what is happening in the country. It has reminded people of the complications of the region, of the way people view each other. And also many people have risen up like these people who are doing private screenings in their homes,” she said.

“Many people have written to me. People are speaking up and not allowing someone to tell them how they should feel about the film, about each other, about history, and I think this is the extraordinary thing.”

Angelina Jolie Tells Brad Pitt “You’re Prettier Than Me” at Globes Bash

Both Jolie, 36, and love of nearly seven years Pitt, 48, left Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards empty handed — Jolie’s In the Land of Blood and Honey didn’t nab the Best Foreign Language Film globe, and Moneyball star Pitt lost to pal George Clooney in the Best Actor, Drama category.

But Jolie (looking spectacular in satin one-shoulder Atelier Versace gown, bright red lipstick and a dramatic updo hairstyle) had quite the consolation prize: Pitt!

“You’re prettier than me,” Jolie gushed to her man as they arrived quietly at the CAA after party at unset Tower. Pitt looked dashing as always in a Salvatore Ferragamo three-piece tuxedo.

Added Jolie: “My shoes are going to kill me!”

BEST GOLDEN GLOBE MOMENTS

“It’s nice when everything comes together,” Pitt told E!’s Ryan Seacrest of their double nominations. “It’s a golden night for us!”

Indeed, Jolie naughtily told the Associated Press what she was most looking forward to that evening: “Getting into bed with Brad!”

Clooney, Pitt,Jolie kick off 2012 award season

Published by EOTM News Editor on January 8th, 2012 - in Awards Shows, Breaking News, Entertainment News

(AP)—George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and other red-carpet veterans joined some Hollywood newcomers in the Southern California desert this weekend to kick off the two-month-long movie award season at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.

“When you’re of age: drink,” Clooney noted to the newbies at Saturday night’s gala awards ceremony. “That’s good advice to pretty much anybody.”

Among those relative newcomers were Clooney’s co-stars from the drama “The Descendants.” “It is the first time we have dressed up all season,” said actor Matthew Lillard. “We have a couple months to put on nice dresses and suits.”

“Don’t forget the shoes,” injected actress Judy Greer. “Oh man, am I going to need a massage when the next two months are over.”

Clooney, star of both “Descendants” and the drama “The Ides of March,” was given the festival’s “Chairman’s Award” for acting, directing, producing and writing. “They gave me a gavel on the way in,” he joked. “And I’m feeling like I might actually get protested now.”

Among other honorees: actresses Michelle Williams (“My Week with Marilyn), Jessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer (“The Help”) and Glenn Close (“Albert Nobbs”).

Pitt was handed the Desert Palm Achievement Award for his performances in “Moneyball” and “The Tree of Life.” Gary Oldman (“Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy”) was dubbed International Star of the Year – the significance of which seemed to baffle its recipient.

“I am on an international stage, rather than a local one,” Oldman noted. “I guess that is what that means?

Or perhaps he simply no longer needs a passport.

“Who designed the award?” Oldman asked. “Maybe I have just that and it gets me through customs.”

As excited as Jolie was to support partner Pitt — the latter walking with a cane, following a skiing injury — home in LA was where their hearts were. “We are rushing back to the kids tonight,” Jolie explained. “We have a birthday party in the morning with our daughter.”

Next stops on the entertainment honors gauntlet include Wednesday’s People’s Choice, Thursday’s Critic’s Choice, Friday’s Los Angeles Film Critics and Sunday’s Golden Globes awards.

Obama on 60 Minutes DVD

“I found that the last time I was (at the Golden Globes), it was a very fun day,” said actor and director Kenneth Branagh, a Globe nominee for his performance in “My Week With Marilyn.”

“The fact that it is a smallish room by comparison with some of the bigger awards rooms means that it has an intimacy and a kind of slightly raucous quality that is very, very carefully adhered to,” Branagh explained. “I was very intoxicated.”

Angelina Jolie ‘lucky I didn’t die young’

Published by EOTM News Editor on November 23rd, 2011 - in Breaking News, Celebrity News, Entertainment News

Angelina Jolie has revealed she is lucky she didn’t die young after going through “heavy darker times.” She also confesses that her “bad girl” side now “belongs to Brad.”

In an upcoming interview with “60 Minutes,” Jolie says that the wild child part of her persona — the one that wore a vial of Billy Bob Thornton’s blood when they were married and who shared a strangely intimate kiss with her brother at the 2000 Academy Awards — isn’t completely gone.

“I’m still a bad girl,” Jolie defends. “I still have that side of me. It’s just in its place now. It belongs to Brad.”

Jolie’s words conjured up images of heated bedroom play, but she quickly clarified, “To our adventures.”

ANGELINA JOLIE AND BRAD PITT PICS

Jolie may be a mother of six and a film director now (her movie “In the Land of Blood and Honey” opens Dec. 23), but the actress still feels deeply connected to her troubled past.

“I went through heavy, darker times and I survived them. I didn’t die young,” Jolie says. “So I am very lucky. There are other artists and people that didn’t survive certain things.”

When prodded by interviewer Bob Simon on what she meant, Jolie says, “I was hoping you missed that. Nothing I want to go into a lot detail about, but I think people can imagine that I did the most dangerous, and I did the worse and admit for many reasons, I shouldn’t be here. You just think there were too many times where you came too close to too many dangerous things, too many chances taken too, too far.”

Jolie has confessed to experimenting with drugs when she was in her teens and early 20s. She has also talked about suffering bouts of depression, during which she would contemplate suicide and cut herself with knives. She told CNN earlier this year, “It was somehow therapeutic to me.”

Last year, a man claiming to be Jolie’s dealer in the late ’90s talked to Life & Style about the star’s alleged drug habits. Franklin Meyer claimed that he met Jolie in 1997 — three years before she won her Academy Award for “Girl, Interrupted” — at New York’s Chelsea Hotel and that she become a regular customer, buying cocaine and heroine twice a week. He alleged Jolie regularly snorted the illegal drugs in front of him. Jolie never responded to his charges.

Jolie’s interview on “60 Minutes” airs Sunday, Nov. 27 at 7 p.m. on CBS.

Brad Pitt to quit acting at age 50

Published by EOTM News Editor on November 14th, 2011 - in Breaking News, Celebrity News, Entertainment News

Getty Images

Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt has revealed he plans to quit acting in three years, but the 47-year-old admitted he is not sure what he will do after ditching a career that has made him a household name.

During an interview with Australia’s 60 Minutes program to promote his latest movie, Moneyball, the American actor was asked how much longer he would like to “do your business for”.

“Three years,” he said in the interview, filmed in Tokyo.

When the reporter pressed him on what would happen then, he replied: “Hell if I know. I am really enjoying the producing side and development of stories and putting those pieces together.”

Pitt also revealed that he and partner Angelina Jolie were open to expanding their brood of six children.

“I don’t know that we’re finished. I don’t know yet,” Pitt said, adding that he enjoyed the chaos of having children around despite the lack of sleep this entailed.

“I mean, because those late nights are so fun when one of them’s up or those mornings when they get up and make pancakes or something. That’s what it’s about.”

Pitt said his family with Jolie had changed his career and influenced the kinds of films he wanted to make.

“If I’m choosing a film now, I want it to be maybe less immature than things I have done in the past,” he said.

“I’m very conscious; when they’re adults I want it to mean something to them. I want them to think ‘Dad’s alright’. It changes everything. Everything.”

The actor, who rose to prominence in 1991′s Thelma And Louise and went on to star in Ocean’s Eleven and Fight Club, said he had not dealt well with fame in the past and was worried about media attention on his children.

“Sure I worry. It’s the only thing I get hot about, I’m ready to… fight about,” he said.

“But on the other hand, it’s a trade-off, like anything.

“And we, these guys, I’m so happy for them because they get to see the world. And their lives are so enriched by it. The privacy issues are something we’re always battling.”

The actor, who has received critical acclaim for Moneyball, said he was content with life.

“I think happiness is overrated, truthfully. I do. I think sometimes you’re happy, sometimes you’re not. There’s too much pressure to be happy,” he said.

“Satisfied, at peace, those would be more goals for myself.”

There’s only one leading lady for Brad Pitt: Angelina Jolie

Published by EOTM News Editor on September 16th, 2011 - in Breaking News, Celebrity News, Entertainment News

There’s only one leading lady who’s good enough for Brad Pitt and it’s none other than Angelina Jolie.

We should be doing them together,” the 47-year-old tells Entertainment Weekly. “We should be doing everything together, and then we could work less. We could have more time off.”

In the interview Brad also reflects on his first interactions with Angelina.

“A husband and wife who actually want to kill each other — I thought that was a launching pad for something really fun and vibrant,” he says of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. “Again, that was something we were developing as we were going along, and Angie’s a great partner in that. We work really well together.”

Brad Pitt describes his former marriage with Jennifer Anniston kind of a drag

Published by EOTM News Editor on September 15th, 2011 - in Breaking News, Celebrity News, Entertainment News

Brad Pitt recently shared the somewhat dirty on his ex wife, Jennifer Anniston in a recent interview with Parade magazine. He compared his life with Anniston as uninteresting, and that he is now a “satisfied man,” in his relationship with Angelina Jolie.

“It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn’t living an interesting life myself,” Pitt told Parade.

“I think that my marriage (to Aniston) had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t,” he added.
