Say bye bye to the Ricki Lake Show...again. Her daytime talk show was canceled after only one season. The Ricki Lake so many loved back in the early 9o’s well….tastes change or so it appears.

Twentieth Television told Broadcasting and Cable the show will not return for a second season next year.
It will continue in production through March 28, with reruns through the summer.
Lake spent 11 years on air with her self-titled daytime talk show before it was canceled in 2004.
According to Nielsen rating the new Ricki Lake never found an audience: Only 926,000 viewers tuned in on average, ranking her near the bottom of the daytime.
“I am so proud of the shows we completed this season, sparking important conversations about everything from raising children to mental illness to suicide prevention to coming out,” Lake said in a statement. “I will continue to be an active and passionate voice for subjects that are close to my heart through a variety of platforms.”
