Bill Clinton to give tribute on behalf of President Obama at Ed Koch’s funeral

Former President Bill Clinton will speak at the funeral of Ed Koch on Monday, according to a spokesman for the former mayor. Koch died early Friday at the age of 88.

Clinton will give the tribute on behalf of President Obama.

Mayor Bloomberg will deliver the eulogy at the funeral, which is expected to be packed with politicians and prominent New Yorkers.

Other speakers include Ido Aharoni, the Israeli consul general in New York, Diane Coffey and John LoCicero.

The service will start at 11 a.m. and will be broadcast live on NY1.

The service also will be carried live on nyc.gov and NYC TV Channels 25 and 74.
