But if you were expecting a big flashy party with plenty of photo’s taken of Kate Middleton’s ever growing baby bump — you will be sorely disappointed. Middleton’s well-documented pregnancy is likely to make it a low-key celebration.
Pregnant Kate has opted to celebrate her 31st birthday ‘privately,’ this according to the Buckingham Palace. Considering the new royalty has been having somewhat of a tough pregnancy, this is very understandable.

As to what fun Kate and Prince William will partake in on this very special day, a source told E! News that the duchess will be celebrating with immediate family — though no further details were shared — nada…zilch. Not even whether she’ll spend the day in London, Wales or even her parents’ Bucklebury home.
Staying out of the limelight however, may just be what the doctor ordered.
