Oscar winning Actor Michael Douglas son, Cameron Douglas, 34, has suffered formidable injuries after allegedly being attacked in prison.

Douglas, who is doing time for drug use and dealing, was attacked after a New York crime boss put a $100 bounty on his head for being a ‘rat,’ according to the New York Post.

Cameron’s psychiatrist inadvertently revealed that his client had snitched to the police about his drug suppliers, David and Eduardo Escalera, during his sentencing hearing.

Cameron received a reduced sentence for his testimony.  Unfortunately the embattled son was recently sentenced to an additional four and a half years for smuggling in heroin and a prescription narcotic while at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Pennsylvania.

Cameron’s leg and finger were broken in the beating. “He broke his femur, which is hard to snap, and had to have a rod inserted,” a source told the New York Post. “He told hospital staff services that he hurt himself playing handball.
