After dating for more than six years, Chaz Bono and Jennifer Elia have called it quits. The “Dancing with the Stars” contestant confirmed the news to TMZ through his rep Howard Bragman.

Bragman told TMZ, “They leave this relationship with great love, respect and affection toward one another. No further amplification will be forthcoming and they ask that you respect their privacy at this time.”
The couple began dating in 1999, and Bono’s proposal to Elia was seen last month on “Becoming Chaz.”
