Beyonce was set to appear on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Eve special on ABC tonight, but according to Ryan Seacrest:
While introducing a performance by Beyoncé for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2012 on ABC, co-host Ryan Seacrest announced that Beyoncé would not be performing live, with a great excuse: “Obviously, Beyoncé couldn’t be here tonight because she’s about to give birth to her first child.”
The show did air a pre-recorded performance of “I Was Here” that Beyoncé did in London.
It was rumored earlier this week that the singer gave birth at a New York hospital. Alleged baby reportedly named Tiana-May Carter. Dad is, of course, Shawn Carter, aka rap star Jay-Z.
Beyoncé’s official Web site originally said the Houston-born diva will perform her song I was Here on Dick Clark’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the ball drop on Times Square.

A show insider confirms to PEOPLE that Debra Messing – who announced Dec.20 that she was separating from her husband of 10 years, Daniel Zelman – is now dating her Smash costar, Will Chase.
Chase, 41, recently separated from his wife, Broadway actress Stephanie Gibson, and the couple are getting divorced, his rep told PEOPLE.
Chase and Messing, 43, have been an item for about six weeks, according to the on-set insider.
“It all happened very fast and it’s a difficult situation,” says the source.
Messing and Zelman have one son, 7-year-old Roman. Chase and Gibson have no children, but he has two daughters, Daisy and Gracie, from a previous marriage.
In a statement today Brand said,”Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage, I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends.”
In the docs, filed in L.A., Brand cites “irreconcilable differences.” The two were married Oct. 23, 2010 in India. They have no kids.
The divorce docs say there are “community property assets” — it’s a sign there might not be a prenup, or if there is one it doesn’t cover all of the earnings and other assets they accumulated.

(AP) LOS ANGELES — Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are curious about your New Year’s Eve plans.
The two actors perform a duet in a video posted this week on YouTube, musically asking, “What are you doing New Year’s Eve?” She plays ukulele and he plays guitar in the two-minute video of the 1947 jazz song.
Deschanel calls her “(500) Days of Summer” co-star “simply the best” in a note accompanying the video.
The two actors don’t reveal their New Year’s Eve plans in the clip, but they will be celebrating together in 2012. Both are nominated for Golden Globe Awards: she for actress in a TV comedy for “New Girl,” and he for his lead role in the film “50/50.”
Beyonce has reportedly given birth to a baby girl and named her Tiana-May Carter, according to Twitter rumors this morning.
Although we would love for this to be true, it is only a rumor! The Run the World Girls singer and husband Jay-Z have not yet made any official announcement.
We still have to wait it out to see if Bey and Jay will be having a boy or girl, until then we can only speculate in anticipation for Baby Carter.

NBA legend Michael Jordan is officially off the market…again. Jordan popped the question on Christmas to his longtime girlfriend, Cuban-born model Yvette Prieto. The couple has been dating for more than three years.
A Jordan spokeswoman first confirmed the news to WCNC in Charlotte, NC, that he popped the question on Christmas. Prieto is 32 years old, while Jordan is 48.
This would be Jordan’s second marriage.
He was married for 17 years to Juanita, but the couple divorced in 2006, and settled for a reported amount of $168 million. They have two sons, Jeffrey Michael and Marcus James, and a daughter, Jasmine.
Rapper mentioned in vision teen had during recent near-death experience…
Rapper Kid Cudi “broke down” after seeing the two-part video posted on YouTube by an 18-year-old fan from Austin, Tex., who would die shortly afterward from a life-long heart condition.

The teenager, Ben Breedlove, died on Christmas Day of a heart attack, but posted his story in a pair of videos a week earlier. In the videos, with an instrumental version of Gary Jules‘ “Mad World” playing in the background, Breedlove, over a series of handwritten index cards, silently tells of his life coping with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a condition marked by the thickening of the heart muscle that makes it hard for the organ to pump blood.
Breedlove relays several near-death experiences over his life, most recently being when he collapsed in the hallway of his high school. During the few minutes between when he stopped breathing and was revived by EMS paramedics, he said he had a vision of a being in a white room alongside his hero, Kid Cudi.
“I am so sad about Ben Breedlove,” Kid Cudi wrote on his Tumblr blog. “I watched the video he left for the world to see, and him seeing me in detail, in his vision really warmed my heart. I broke down, I am to tears because I hate how life is so unfair. This has really touched my heart in a way I cant describe, this is why I do what I do. Why I write my life, and why I love you all so much.
“Life is really f—- up sometimes, but I know Ben is at Peace, and I hope he gets a chance to sit and talk with my Dad. We love you Ben. Forever. Thank you for loving me. To Ben’s family, you raised a real hero, he’s definitely mine. You have my love,” the 27-year-old rapper wrote before signing off with his real name, Scott Mescudi.
Friends and family didn’t discover the Westlake High School senior’s video farewell until after his death, but his mother, Deanne Breedlove, told the Austin Statesman that “it was a gift to us, and for him to be so confident and unafraid of death and to share it with other people was so touching.”
Breedlove wrote that during his collapse this month, both he and his rapper idol were wearing white suits in that white room where there seemed to be no walls. The teen describes a sense of overwhelming calm that he last experienced when he had a life-threatening seizure at the age of 4.
“Kid Cudi brought me to a glass desk and put his hand on my shoulder,” Breedlove wrote in his video farewell. “Right then my favorite song of his came on, ‘Mr. Rager.’ The part where it said ‘When will the Fantasy end … When will the heaven begin?’ And he said, ‘Go Now.’
“Right then, I woke up and the EMS were performing CPR. I didn’t want to leave that place. I wish I never woke up.”
Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana dating reports started making buzz around, after the couple has allegedly told their friends and family about their relationship.
“They are totally dating,” bubbles an insider.
Cooper, 36, and Saldana, 33, are apparently “extremely happy” about the romance and have been sharing the news with friends and family.
In November, the actress split from her businessman fiancé, Keith Britton, after 11 years together (one of them engaged).
Rumors claiming she was cozying up to Cooper soon surfaced, with an eyewitness retroactively alleging to Star that they were “acting like two high school kids going steady” while hanging at a New York hot spot in September.
Zoe’s rep, however, was quick to brush off the hookup rumblings, insisting to multiple outlets that the pulchritudinous pair, who cuddled up on camera earlier this year while filming “The Words,” were “just friends.”
Reports are circulating that the 30-year-old singer and actress is in labor. On Tuesday, Media Takeout reported that nurses and security at New York City’s St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital had been put on “high alert” and told that a very high profile patient would be checking in to deliver a baby. Nurses told Media Takeout that the patient booked half the floor of the hospital’s luxury “Labor and Delivery Suite.”
It’s still a developing story and seeing as Bey is over 9 months pregnant now, it seems very likely she will be giving birth any day.
This new report has yet to be confirmed by Beyonce’s rep.
The wife of Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders said Tuesday she learned about his decision to end their marriage when she read it online.

Pilar Biggers-Sanders’ lawyer Larry Friedman told TMZ she was “heartbroken and surprised when [she] read . . . that Deion announced his decision, on his own.”
“Pilar’s sole focus and top priority for the last twelve and a half years has been her marriage and children,” he added. “Based on recent discoveries, [Pilar] now realizes that Deion did not view their family the same way.”
The lawyer said Biggers-Sanders had not negotiated a divorce settlement with the 44-year-old, and that she fully intended to protect herself and their three children.
Biggers-Sanders, however, was still not convinced the marriage was over and said she was “confident that he will come to his senses and return to his family as he has in the past.”
Sanders made the announcement Dec. 17 in a statement to the entertainment website, saying, “Pilar and I have decided to end our marriage and move on to the next phase of our individual lives with mutual respect.
“We are friends and our top priority has and will continue to be the well-being of our children.
“We arrived at this decision prayerfully and carefully in order to be able to pursue what is in both of our best personal interests.”

The comedian is taking significant heat after weighing in with a sarcastic tweet on Tim Tebow’s hellish performance over the weekend against Buffalo.
Entertainment Weekly reported Maher invoked Tebow, Jesus and even Hitler in his sarcastic summation of Tebow’s performance against Buffalo, writing that:
“Wow, Jesus just f—– #TimTebow bad! And on Xmas Eve! Somewhere in hell Satan is tebowing, saying to Hitler “Hey, Buffalo’s killing them,” Maher tweeted.
The TV show says Maher has been widely slammed for the remark, but that Tebow didn’t respond, and kept his tweets focused on more upbeat messages.

Two kids and nearly six years later, Matthew McConaughey popped the question to his longtime lady love, model Camila Alves, over the holiday weekend. Her answer? A big yes! The actor confirmed the engagement on Twitter.
“Just asked camila to marry me, merry Christmas,” he tweeted on Christmas Day, also posting a photo of him and Alves kissing next to Christmas decorations. The couple have a 3-year-old son, Levi, and a daughter, Vida, who turns 2 next month.
In the March issue of Esquire, the actor gushed about his bride-to-be. “Before this, I had a super home in the Hollywood Hills that I did by myself — landscaping, detailing pretty much everything. But that house was mine. And yeah, we coulda gone in there right away. Camila would have said, ‘Fine, don’t change a thing.’ But I thought, ‘I found the woman I wanna do it with, the woman I wanna make a family with, hopefully live our life out together.’ She needs to have 50 percent of that,” he said. “I mean, it’s a lot easier for me to be at 100 percent. I’d always been 100 percent. It’s braver for me at 50 percent.”
In September 2008, McConaughey opened up to People about Alves, calling her “the love of my life.” The two began dating in 2006. “I always wanted to be a father and thought it would be great, but it just took the right woman and the right time to make it all happen,” he said. “We’re a family now. I see the future and it’s clearer to me now. Walking around with this cool responsibility all the time, it’s a wonderful thing.”

But, the cover, which was dated Jan. 7, 2012, was revealed as a fake.That didn’t stop the fake, which features a solo Lauther, touting the “Exclusive” story, from creating buzz on the Internet though.
“Tired of rumors, the Twilight star opens up about his decision to finaly come out. ‘I’m more liberated, and happier than I’ve ever been,’” the cover’s copy proclaimed.
But, a spokesperson for People magazine told Gossip Cop that the story was “absolutely fake.”
Producer Russell Simmons was fooled by the the fake, tweeting, “proud of Taylor Lautner for his bravery and his courage.” He later responded to being duped, saying, “ Disappointed that people would joke about someone coming out about their sexuality. Let Taylor Lautner be whoever he wants to be…”
“Justin got me a present. #swag!!!” Butler posted to his Twitter along with a pic of a brand-new ivory two-door Ford Mustang Convertible Sunday.
The teen popstar and his BFF grew up together in Stratford, Ontario. Butler makes a cameo in Bieber’s 2009 music video for his hit, “One Time.”
Despite his super-busy schedule, the 17-year-old “Under the Mistletoe” singer spent Christmas Day at home in Canada with his family — sans girlfriend Selena Gomez. He posted a few photos of him and his two younger siblings (Jaxon, 2, and Jazmyn, 3) to his Twiter account.
According to TMZ Maria Shriver is telling friends she’s now unsure if she wants to divorce Arnold Schwarzenegger .
The gossip site reports Maria is torn, partly because of her strong religious beliefs that do not include divorce.
Making matters even more complicated — we’re told Arnold still desperately wants Maria back, and has been “extremely sweet” to her and has made numerous gestures — which include presents — to win Maria back.
Maria filed for divorce on July 1, though she moved out months earlier. She’s already bought a mansion in Brentwood, CA, which she’s in the process of renovating.
