Styles P to join the Explore South Africa Tour

Los Angeles, California – November 18, 2011 — (EPR) Hip-hop artist, entrepreneur and author Styles p will head out to South Africa in April of 2012 for the Explore South Africa Tour (ESAT).

The engaging young rapper who speaks rapidly and articulately about issues ranging from social injustice to the state of rap will join the tour for its launch April of 2012.

The New York rapper who is a member of The LOX and is also part of the Ruff Ryders hip hop group is one of the most legendary emcees in the golden age of hop-hop. Not only that, but as an activist in inner-city non-violence and youth positivity movements, wielding a tremendous level of influence and respect makes him a viable asset to the hip hop community as well as the tour.

Hip hop artists on the roster plan on bringing a message of hope, peace and harmony to the masses through the Explore South Africa tour (ESAT). “We can overcome the ever-growing trend towards negativity in Hip Hop and hold steadfast to positive beliefs and ideals while maintaining great success and influence,” a spokesperson for ESAT said.

The initiative, presented by AZitiZ Entertainment and Headgear Media also aims to assist conscious hip hop artists, fans and brands to enter into the South African market with the hopes networking, sharing their love for the genre as well as learning the in and outs of the music business via the Global Hip Hop Industry Panel of Experts.

Styles P will join international hip hop artist AZitiZ, Senegal’s hip hop band Wagëblë, South Africa’s DJ Duce and conscious artist Jah-I-Witness Emcee in South Africa for the tours launch in Johannesburg. Other invited hip hop icons include KRS One, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Dead Prez, Grandmaster Flash and others to be announced.
