10 weeks of “staged” marriage bliss ends in divorce and a hefty payout for the two.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. “I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision,” she said in a statement. “I had hoped this marriage was forever but sometimes things don’t work out as planned.”
All this just 10 weeks after their lavish, made-for-TV wedding.
Kris Humphries told TMZ he was “blindsided” to learn his bride had filed for divorce and is “willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.”
Kardashian and Humphries were wed Aug. 20 in a star-studded, black-tie ceremony at an exclusive estate in the seaside enclave of Montecito, Calif. The couple’s wedding registry at a Beverly Hills jeweler totaled $172,000.
Well, I don’t know but it looks like this was a business arrangement made in heaven. The couple made a whopping 18 million off their wedding and almost $200k in wedding gifts, not bad!

Of course its a sham. The public knows nothing. They, like all reality celebutoid “Personalities” have paid viral marketing professionals on every forum on the web posting false positive threads on them. Its just the way Hollywood works in 2011.
Remember Paris Hilton a few years ago? I don’t! This one will soon fall of the face of the earth as well. It’s just the way it works when there is no talent foundation underneath it.
I’m not surprised but I’m not mad at her either. Everything this woman does is very calculated and pre-mediated. She’s smarter than she looks and people have to remember that she and Kourtney are both college educated, people forget that they are business women at the end of the day. This is a business for them and at the end of the day it’s entertainment! I’m pretty sure they have everything penned out including when they will be photoed together, argue in public, and get a divorce assuming they’re actually legally married!
It’s been said in so many ways by so many people (Ray J and her ex-husband) that Kim will do anything to be famous! Even that ‘sex tape’ minus the 5 minus of actual sex was about her desire to be famous and her love of the spotlight! This fake marriage is GREAT for business and entertainment and hey it’s not like it hasn’t been done before; royal families do it ALL the time…maybe that’s why she dubbed her wedding ‘royal’ (inside laugh) Now the real question is whether this is right morally..
One day deep in the future when Kimby is making love eyes to her soon to be new money bags husband she will do a few quick math calculations before slightly parting her lips to let the Benjamin bills frolic the back of her tonsils. Such it seems is the allure of love and lust in a world where love always tastes better when it’s heavily scented with a money back guarantee/ media pay for play deal.
