Prosperity Peachers stick together|Bishop Long + Creflo Dollar

As you know may already know, Eddie Long reached a confidential out of court settlement with the four men who accused him of sexual coercion, and their lawsuits against him have been officially dismissed.

It would appear that once you are used to a certain theology it’s hard to shake it. I guess that’s why some of Bishop Longs’ congregation moved on over to Creflo’s side when the tough got tougher. Yes, it has been confirmed, some past members of New Birth have had enough and decided to leave Bishop Long’s ministry and move on over to Creflo Dollar’s ministry.

In a service this past Sunday Creflo Dollar encouraged the new church members that attended his service to return to Eddie Long’s Church. He compares Eddie Long to Jesus.

Dollar is known for his controversial Prosperity preaching. He has been criticized for his lavish lifestyle as he owns two Rolls-Royces, a private jet, a million dollar home in Atlanta, and a 2.5 million dollar home in Manhattan.Dollar has refused to disclose his salary and Creflo Dollar Ministries received a grade of “F” for financial transparency by the organization MinistryWatch.

Creflo Dollar of World Changers Church addressed his growing congregation and told New Birth Members to return home:

“If you from that church that you know what I’m talkin’ bout and you tryin’ to join here, I don’t want you here!That is my friend! That is my brother in The Lord!”

And in response to Long settling with his accusers, Dollar states:

“He had a wreck, but he had insurance…I can’t believe that people would leave their preacher just because he has a wreck, instead of praying for him.”
