Count Down To Prince William and Kate’s Wedding

Prince William prepares to walk down the aisle…..

The countdown is on for Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s highly anticipated royal wedding. The invitations have been mailed out for the Friday, April 29 event.

Of course, everybody is talking about the wedding dress and who the designer will be.

“This is being treated as a state secret; it really is being shrouded in secrecy,” says Katie. “[Kate's] determined to keep the wedding dress a secret. When she leaves the Goring Hotel, she’s having a marquee specially created over the entrance so that no one will get a glimpse of her until she enters Westminster Abbey.”

Approximately 1,900 invitations were sent out last week. Among the guests are over 1,000 of Prince William and Miss Middleton’s family and friends; over 50 Members of the royal family; over 40 members of foreign royal families; over 200 members of government, parliament and diplomatic corps; approximately 80 guests drawn from Prince William’s charities; 60 governors-general and realm prime ministers; and 30 Members of the defence services.

“The wedding is being split into two parts,” says Katie. “The majority of the people at this wedding are going to be friends of the couple. … It’s not a state wedding. This really is a wedding for their family and friends.”

Following the wedding, approximately 600 people have been invited to the lunchtime reception at Buckingham Palace given by The Queen, and around 300 people have been invited to the dinner at Buckingham Palace given by The Prince of Wales.

BET’s The Game – Season Finale – Shoulda Been There

Season 4 of “The Game’ may have started a little iffy but it most definitely ended with a bang.

Yes — “The Game” finale makes the cut? For many….

For a show to be cut from the CW and put back on via BET — it is arguably a success.

With Malik potentially out of the picture, and Tasha out with him, the show’s shining couple, Melanie and Derwin close out the season finale with the kind of twist we have come to expect from the Writers.

Derwin and Melanie visit a fertility clinic to figure out why Melanie is having trouble getting pregnant. The doctor asks Melanie a list of questions, all of which would help him gauge her ability to get pregnant. One of the questions: Have you ever had an abortion? Melanie’s answer “Definitely not.” Tasha isn’t the only one who knows what it means when Melanie says “Definitely.” When the doctor leaves to place an order to draw some blood, Derwin asks her, “The abortion…was it mine?”

With that, season four of “The Game” is over.

Season four started off with a whopping 7.7 million viewers.

As much as the show wants to be funny and dramatic, it’s clear the creative team for the BET version has a flair for the dramatic. With such a cliffhanger and so many unanswered questions between Tasha, Malik, and most importantly Melanie and Derwin, season five of “The Game” has the potential to make the show even bigger.

Charlie Sheen Flips Out On Denise Richards

Since Charlie Sheen’s winning interview on “Good Morning America”, he’s somehow completely managed to make headlines a million times over. Between his “bi-winning” comment, to his life with his Goddesses, kissing Jimmy Kimmel and his upcoming tour, it’s been quite the ride. But guess that wasn’t enough, now that he’s opted to attack his ex Denise Richards on Twitter over their dogs — well, her dogs really.

Apparently, Charlie took to Twitter on Monday morning, calling Denise a “dog thief” and a “whore,” because she took back two pugs in his care. His exact words? ”We must bombard with Warlock Napalm, that traitor and loser whore #DUH -neese POOR-ARD. A VILE KIDNAPPER AND NOW DOG THIEF. HATE.”

But as we understand, the dogs were actually Denise’s, a source told Popeater. She’d had them since before they got married. However, according to TMZ, during their divorce, she left them with Charlie so their daughters would be able to play with them when they spent time with their dad.

Now Charlie flips out on Twitter and we wonder: why does he now care about the dogs that seem to have been mistreated in his care? Well, according to TMZ, it’s because he wants the dog that’s still alive to be a mascot during his upcoming tour that starts in April.

Singer — Mariah Carey was rushed to the hospital earlier Sunday morning due to having contractions. Despite being in what she thought was to be true labor, she tweeted that she was indeed being rushed to the hospital and having contractions.

The contractions turned out to be a false alarm however, as Mariah later tweeted, “They almost came on 3/27- happy anniversary in deed!!! We have a few more weeks 2 go but- wow!!!: ) #soreadyallready!”

Donald Trump Discusses President Obama on ‘The View’

Donald Trump went on “The View” on Wednesday and discussed President Barack Obama and other subjects. “I want him to show his birth certificate,” Trump said of Obama. “There’s something on that birth certificate that he doesn’t like.” Trump, who has been promoting his show “Celebrity Apprentice,” is also reportedly considering a White House Run.

“I think that’s the biggest pile of dog mess I’ve heard in ages,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg responded.

R&B singer Chris Brown has publicly apologized a day after storming backstage directly after

an interview and performance on Good Morning America, with Co Anchor Robin Roberts.

“First of all, I want to apologize to anybody who was startled in the office, or anybody who was offended or really looked, and [was] disappointed at my actions,” Brown said, according to a transcript of his live appearance on BET’s “106 & Park.” “Because I’m disappointed in the way I acted.”

“Yes, I got very emotional,” he later added. “And I apologize for acting like that.”

Brown emphasized that he did not hurt anyone backstage at “GMA” but had to release “the anger that I had inside of me” after, he claimed, he was thrown off by questions about his personal life in an interview he believed would focus on his new album.

Elizabeth Taylor has died at 79 years of age — but what a life she lived.

She once said, “I’m a survivor, a living example of what people can go through and survive.”

Elizabeth Taylor died Wednesday (3/23/11) at 1:30am.

In 2003, Taylor announced her retirement. Public appearances became rare and there were always reports stating she was at deaths door. Taylor herself labeled the report false.

“Oh, come on, do I look like I’m dying?” Taylor asked Larry King in 2006, her first TV interview in years. “Do I look like or sound like I have Alzheimer’s?”

Though retired from Hollywood, Taylor refused to retire from her activist work. “There’s still so much more to do,” she told the Associated Press in 2005. “I can’t sit back and be complacent, and none of us should be. I get around now in a wheelchair, but I get around.”

RIP Taylor, you will be forever missed.

Charlie Sheen Pulls In $7 Million From Tour

According to TMZ, Charlie Sheen’s tickets are selling like hotcakes! Charlie Sheen now has 21 dates scheduled, including a Toronto spot, for his hour and 15 minute show, featuring “essentially Charlie doing comedy in a chair.”

The actor is able to earn so much from the show due to his concert contract, which let’s him keep 85% of what the tour makes. The shows also have no advertising costs; ticket sales have relied solely on Charlie’s twitter announcements/rants, even for his sold out shows. Sheen is reportedly raffling tickets off for charity for his Detroit show.

Chris Brown visited “Good Morning America” for an interview with Robin Roberts on Tuesday morning, as part of a promotion of his new album, F.A.M.E.. According to inside sources, the interview was a disaster. Insiders with TMZ reports that, after a brief performance, Brown went into a rage off stage, shattering a window, perhaps with a chair, and leaving ABC’s studio without his shirt, all without completing a second scheduled performance.

During the interview, Roberts jumped right into a number of questions about Brown’s 2009 arrest for the savage beating of his then girlfriend – superstar, Rihanna. She mentioned that the restraining order that resulted from the incident had recently been relaxed, to which Brown responded: “I mean, it’s not really a big deal to me now, as far as that situation, and I think today’s the album day, that’s what I’m focused on.”

When asked what the acronym in the album name stands for, Brown said, “Forgiving all my enemies, and definitely, fans are my everything. That meaning, being able to go through everything I went through and show my fans that I love them.”

That opened another opportunity for Roberts to try to bring the beating up, which Brown again preempted by very pointedly emphasizing his album. As the interview ended, Brown emphasized that he couldn’t care less what others thought.

In defense of her, Robins Roberts insists that Brown pre-approved the questions before the interview.

Later, ABC News released a statement saying, “As always, we ask questions that are relevant and newsworthy, and that’s what we did in this interview with Mr. Brown.”

Soulja Boy Mourns Death Of 14-Year-Old Brother

Rapper’s brother, Deion Jenkins, died after car accident in Charleston, MS.

Soulja Boy did what many celebs do when something major – good/bad in their high profiled lives break — they report via Twitter. On Monday, March 21st – the rapper went to his twitter to express grief over the death of his half-brother Deion Jenkins. The 14-year-old died on Sunday in a car accident in Charleston, Mississippi.

The “Pretty Boy Swag” MC remembered his sibling online, tweeting, “at home crying my eyes out I can’t believe my Lil bro is gone… today is so not my day.. RIP lil brother love you always ”

In addition to Soulja Boy, an associate of the rapper, Michael “Miami Mike” Sykes, also sent his condolences. “The Flags are @ Half Staff @ the Offices of SODMG & PTE, R.I.P. to @Souljaboy little brother who passed-way in a auto crash last nite ,” he tweeted.

While further details regarding Jenkins’ accident are still unknown, a rep for Soulja Boy told XXLmag.com funeral proceedings for the 14-year-old will be held on Saturday.
